Firewalker 05:05
Sitting out by the waterfront, the wind whipped at our faces Flakes floated around us, but the sky stayed clear Your glasses had fogged up, and your scarf covered your mouth But I could tell from the way you looked you were smiling I never need to chase a feeling with you Because I’ve always got it I never need to chase a feeling with you Because I’ve always got it We drove back to your house, as the sun set behind us I watched the day disappear, in your rear view mirror We couldn’t have known it, but as our fate would have it We were witnessing the start, of something special

about

These are a bunch of songs I wrote early this year. I originally wanted to make a bunch of songs that sounded like they could be played in the Roadhouse in Twin Peaks. (Shoutout to David Lynch and Mark Frost, season four please?)

An earlier version of this record was much more of a stylistic mixed bag, because to be honest I didn't know what kind of record I wanted it to be. I was set to release it as is until I went on a The Cure and New Order kick, and what I liked about those records was that although the songs had different styles and sounds, they had a cohesive feel.

Soon after listening to "Disintegration" and "Power, Corruption and Lies" about 10 times each, I tossed out about a third of the record, recorded a few new songs, and drastically remixed the songs I had from earlier, all over the course of about 4 days. Anyway, I hope you like this album, and please share it with your friends! Thanks for listening!

Dedicated to Mars and my mom.
